Engraved print, c. 320 x 550 mm. A fine example. This, the first bridge on this site, was completed in 1753, but replaced in 1778. Augustin Heckel was born in Austria but came to England as a young man where he worked as a watch case engraver and painter; he died in Richmond in 1770.
