Spine a little worn and starting to split at the base, internally Fine. A deluxe version with a separate printed title page which in the ordinary edition is used as the front board. Michel Bouquet [1807 - 1890] was a French landscape painter working predominantly on the Continent, North Africa and Asia Minor. This is a very fine series of lithographs by a master of light and shade, showing Scotland at all times of the day and in all weathers. Rare; Copac lists Aberdeen University and the V&A only.
