Original single sheet etching, 260 x 180 mm. A little spotted but a nice clean and dark impression with good margins outside the plate mark. A caricature which references the occasional fanciful buildings in London “Whereas my New Pagoda has been clandestinely carried off & a new pair of dolphins taken from the top of the gazebo by some bloodthirsty Villains & whereas a good deal of timber has been cut down and carried away from the Old Grove that was planted last Spring & Pluto and Proserpine thrown into my Bason from henceforth steel traps & spring guns will be constantly set for the better extirpation of such a nest of villains by me Jeremiah Sago.”
