8vo. pp. 32. Plain paper wrappers, Fine copy. 6 page historical introduction followed by a description of the 26 elements of the panorama. Allom exhibited a 'Polyorama' or Panorama somewhere in London; a series of paintings made after his tour of the Bosphorus which also led to the illustrations for his well known book with steel engravings. Whether the same illustrations were used is unclear and most records seem to have been lost. There are a few fleeting references in articles and books on panoramas and the Getty hold a small broadside advertising the exhibition. There appears to be a 3rd. edition of this pamphlet with a slightly different title [The Polyorama of Constantinople...etc.] held by the British Library only with no other copies worldwide.
