4to. pp. [8], 64; 28 original mounted photographs of Nottingham street scenes and views. Original decorated and printed cloth with mounted photograph. Inner joints strengthened and new front end-paper, a little fraying to the head of the spine otherwise a Very Good copy. Gernshiem 601, referring to an edition with only 12 photographs with 1875 as the date, however as it was re-issued twice in the 1880s with fewer illustrations; it is likely that Gernshiem's copy was a later re-issue. This first edition is rare.
