Small 4to. pp. 4 hand coloured maps with manuscript valuation details. The maps are hand drawn and hand-coloured, not cut out from the Ordnance Survey maps as is often the case. With a fine pen and ink lettering and illustration to the title page. Full morocco, decorated and lettered in gilt. A little rubbed but Fine. Manuscript survey based on the Ordnance Map Survey of several townlands in Ireland, presumably made for a landlord. Maps of lands in Ballyrankin, Shannon Lower, Clonnagonnell and Breandrum, with valuations for these plus Comasser. Also included is a printed prospectus, reproducing the map and valuation entries for Ballyrankin as examples of work that Hodges and Smith could supply to landlords and agents.
